A nostalgic pull guides me further under the Eucalyptus arches. My feet and soul know the path ahead. The bush will open its Gentle embrace onto rolling sea of grass topped hills. Curvy gums bow down to shade mobs of kangaroos in beds of bracken fern. I breathe deeply knowing this place and in turn it is knowing me. There is excitement for I am almost back now there. This painting depicts a place of childhood memories a place that helped build who I am today, these small moments in the natural world for a child can guide and transform our future together.
